BRIEF

MTV VMA capture the voice of the generation from year-to-year. Distill 2017 into a direction fitting for this year's Video Music Awards.

CONCEPT

Represent the voice of Milenials while integrating the idea of who will be famous from the glorified pedestal we place fashion mannequins upon.

SOLUTION

Creating a system evoking this loudness with type driven designs emphasized by vibrant color and scale. This ties into the factor of the sought after fame, where I looked to the pedestal mannequins are placed upon in the fashion industry. Although lifeless they portray the idea of a person we seek to be, and with everyone seeking fame at the VMA's the idea of mannequin drove that point while adding to the spectacle MTV is known for.
